Nera Mandala Doily Crochet Pattern

Nera Doily is the first Hesihia piece — an exploration of how one pattern can shift in mood through color alone.

All samples are made using crochet lace thread with a 1.6 mm hook, yet each one feels different.
Sample 1 was created using four colors, with a spring-inspired palette.
Rounds 1, 3, and 4 are worked in pink, with round 2 in yellow.
Rounds 5 through 8 are worked in an off-white shade.
Rounds 9, 10, 12, 13, and 14 return to pink, with round 11 in yellow, and the final rounds 15 and 16 finished in green.

Sample 2 uses only two colors.
Rounds 1, 2, 4, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 are worked in off-white, while the remaining rounds are worked in green.

Sample 3 explores a softer, more boho and kawaii vintage feel. It also uses two colors, but in a different way than Sample 2.
Most of the mandala is worked in off-white, with only rounds 2 and 11 worked in pink.
